OKLAHOMA FEDERATION OF INDIAN WOMEN
ABOUT US
OFIW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with the state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1969, OFIW works to promote the action of purpose in preserving the cultural heritage and identity of each Indian tribe, and to develop ways of depicting the Indian woman as taking her place in the world today. OFIW members and titleholders come from all across Oklahoma representing many different tribes of our state and our nation. OFIW holds several fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for our annual events and the reinstated Miss & Jr Miss Indian Oklahoma scholarship fund. We recognize the importance of these events and strive to make each year a success.
